Our Creative Classroom Grant program empowers educators to bring innovative ideas to life by providing funding for unique, engaging learning opportunities. Projects that enhance student learning in one or more subject areas such as language arts, math, science, social studies, and the arts are especially encouraged.
Each spring, educators can apply for available grant funding, with award decisions announced and funds distributed in September. For the 2026–2027 school year, the GCEF will award $75,000 in classroom grants and $25,000 in arts-related grants for a total of $100,000 going to support out students, teachers, and classrooms.
The 2026-2027 grant application is NOW OPEN!
Educators can apply anytime between May 1 – August 31. To be considered, all applications should be received by August 31st. All grants for the 2026-2027 school year will be reviewed and approved at the September board meeting. Grant recipients can use their grant funds for any time frame in the 2026-27 school year.
