The GCEF was a co-recipient of the Impact 100 Southern Indiana $116,000 grant. This grant allowed the Foundation to offer BAYA programming in all of our Middle and High Schools. BAYA – Beautiful As You Are is a Girls Group that is conducted by Mrs. Tish Frederick, Founder & CEO of the BAYA organization of Clarksville.
BAYA is a female empowerment group that aims to help teach coping skills and strategies to students that may struggle with any of the following: self-esteem, body-image, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, bullying, loneliness, or other related concerns. BAYA provides a safe space for young females to dissect life experiences and mental blocks that hinder them from reaching their full self-actualization.
